As an excerpt from part 1 of this series (if you have not read the part 1, go to Learn How to Start/Create a Blog Like a Pro Part 1 before you continue), creating and designing a proper and successful blog just like the pro is the dream of every blogger, but most end up creating a crap. Without doubt, to start a proper blog is kind of a tricky task which can become really difficult to do if you do not know exactly how to do it, but it is surely a quite easy task if you know how. However, it still needed your hard work to maintain the success of a blog.

3 – Purchase the Domain

Of course after choosing the right domain name, next thing is to purchase it from a domain name registrar.
Be careful when choosing your domain name registrar so as not to face any issue in the future. I myself uses NaijaBlogHosting as my
domain name registrar service for the past 2 years and I have not have any issues so far.

4 – Purchase the Web Hosting

After getting your domain name, the next thing is getting a web hosting service to host your blog. Like domain name purchasing,
you should choose carefully because this matters a lot. I suggest you host with a reputable company, althou, it might cost you
but believe me, it worth it! I personally use NaijaBlogHosting as my domain name registrar and web hosting service and I have been okay with them so far.

5 – Install the WordPress Blog

Without wasting time, next thing after confirming the success of your domain name and web hosting purchase is to install your blog. You can access your Control Panel through www.YourDomainName.com/cpanel.
Although, WordPress is not the only blogging platform but I suggest you choose WordPress as your blogging platform. There are tons of

6 – Choose a WordPress Theme or Template

There are many wonderful WordPress themes you can use for your new blog and that was the reason I prefer to choose WordPress blog as my blogging platform.
You can choose from various types ranging from free to paid themes. The choice of your theme should depend on your niche and type of blog.
Make sure the theme is clean, light and suit your blog need.

7 – Install the Necessary WordPress Plugins

Plugin is another reason to choose WordPress as your blog platform. Like in theme choosing, there are many free and paid
WordPress plugin available on the internet. Plugins help you extend the functionality of your blog. Because there are thousands of plugins
does not mean we should install every plugins that comes our way. Too much of plugins can slow down your blog. Here are some
necessary plugins you might need:

* Akismet, to guard your blog from nasty spam
* All in One SEO Pack WordPress plugin, to help for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
* Stat Press WordPress Plugin, to get trusted statistic of the blog.
* Google Sitemap WordPress Plugin, to make GoogleBot Friendly sitemap

The four plugins above is enough for a new blog but as time goes on, you will surely need some basic WordPress plugins. Install
them to your purpose.

8 – Write the Contents

This is the most important part in the whole steps of starting a blog like a pro. All our preparations
from the start will be useless if you do not have any content to fill your blog. You shouldn’t just write any kind of content, your content must be unique, highly quality blog contents. You should write with passion as this will help you produce quality,
unique content. This depends on the success of your blog.
